Monosomy 13 / del13q , t(4:14), t(14:16) & del 17p are associated with unfavourable prognosis whereas t(11:14) has an intermediate prognosis whereas gain of long arm of chromosome 1 is associated with worst prognosis. This assay selects magnetically CD138 positive cells prior to testing thereby increasing sensitivity of the test.
